Lensball

A sphere made of glass (or sometimes plastic) becomes an exciting tool. Through the sphere image sections are captured and rotated. Even without post-processing, the photos look exciting and inspiring.

The Lensball is for me an exciting change to vile holiday and everyday pictures, as the charm is increased to take a closer look at the pictures and recognize details.

Here are a few examples of your own. To make the contrast visible, I show here both the original, as well as the post-processed version.

Experimental

We are surrounded by structures that, through a little imagination, become something else. Recognizing and photographing these structures stimulates the imagination. You experience the world with different eyes.

Traces in the Sand

From a distance you can see traces that look like hair is flowing into the water. In a close-up you can see different structures. Were they created by water, fish or wind?

On closer inspection, you can even recognize faces.

Shell

An insignificant piece that one sees again and again near the seas. But with a macro shot the imagination comes into play. - Is it a volcano on an island?

Canyon or trickle

Near the ground you will often find structures that look similar on a large scale. But in which canyon are mussels?

Wild water or trickle

Imagination is everything. A trickle for humans, a canyon for small animals.

Marine life in the forest?

Threads in the forest hanging on trees? How does it work? Who hung her up there?Was it a fairy who ran too close to the branch and had to leave a few of her hair? Was it a sea creature? Were the threads hung by human hands?

Asia or Europe? Dragon or mountain?

Mountains that look like lying dragons, in a light that is only known from Asian landscapes. - Imagination and creativity form a unity - both properties can be trained daily.

Fascination mirror

Mirrors offer an ingenious way to distort reality. This image is from an object created by Olarfur Eliasson. Olafur Eliasson is an artist who deals with physical phenomena in nature. Exhibitions with objects from his workshop are for me inspiration and arouse my imagination.
