My whole life is accompanied by stories about my ancestors. Each relative told me a part of a big puzzle. To put this puzzle together means a lot of work and accompanies one for years.
The more information I had, the more curious I became. History is made up of stories. One tries to understand the life circumstances of the respective time, learns antique professions and the reading of old documents in handwriting.
I get to know places my ancestors lived in and get in contact with other people who are also involved in genealogy.
There are always moments when you can not get any further. The contact with previously unknown relatives is exciting and at the same time beautiful.
For privacy reasons, unfortunately, I can not give an example of my work here, but I'll give you a brief outline of it:
I was born in Linz (Austria). Through ancestor research, I found that my ancestors from Schwäbisch Hall (DE), Speyer (DE), Bergzabern (DE) Hamburg (DE), Altendorf (CZ), Liebau (CZ), City Liebau (CZ), Gresten (AT), Helfenberg (AT), Vienna (AT), Freistadt (AT) and Rzezow (PL).
Personally, I only know three of these places so far, but it is my ambition to visit all places at some day.
